Skills of a Grandma

I am a mom of 3 kids and a grandma of 7 1/2, one in the oven almost done. I noticed things around me changing as I grow older. Some of these things are not for the better. So that’s why I started this blog.

Hi my name is Julia and I want to teach ya something as we go on this journey of being a grandma. I am a jack of all trades and a master of none. So if there is job to do I can do it or at least try to do it.

My kids think of me as weird, but fun to be around. I am a positive person and love to laugh. I am a hard worker and love to have while I work. My motto is “if the work I do is fun it aint work”, simple as that. I don’t try even to make people laugh it just happens.

I also have a caring side of me that, for several years now I have been a certified nurses aide. I love helping people. The old are the history books for me. Most are 90 to 100 years old, boy they got stories, some their life some whats going on around them. I love laughing with them as well. These people may not hear well, walk good, or understand well, but they are fun to be around. The trouble they got into, the late nights out, or daddy’s car stolen for a date. They worked hard, some not much schooling, had to help at home or gone off to war. I love my job.
